Brandon Graham Figured Out His Purpose in Life

Graham looks back on turning points in his life, based on the fact that eternity is forever.

By Faith on the Field Staff, September 17, 2021

Brandon Graham was a first round pick by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010. According to Rob Maaddi, Graham is one of the most likable players you will ever ever meet.

Entering the NFL, he faced all the pressures that everyone faces, but greatly accelerated because of fame and fortune.

“It was real rocky. I’m saying like I was out here…thinking you’re a sex symbol…you got a little money now and people (are) just throwing themselves at you.”

Like many people, Graham looks back on his life and realized how his spiritual priorities were not heading in the right direction.

“I wasn’t consistent with my relationship with God, but I know on the inside it was burning in me to get right, because I’m starting to feel bad about doing certain stuff. And when I started feeling bad, that’s when I feel like the change started.”

One day Graham was listening to a sermon that spoke to him.  God used it to begin to turn his life around

“I was listening to a sermon one day and it was like, you don’t want to leave this earth and not know God because that’s eternity. This is so powerful man. I do not want to leave this earth without knowing god at least, you know, putting forth the effort.”

Graham went on to speak about the challenges of living a life of purity before marriage how God used to that draw other people to Him.
