WHERE'S YOUR IDENTITY?

            How do you see yourself?

            Often we use our job title to describe who we are but the truth is our position of employment is only what we do for a living.

            Our financial statements, our social status, our fame or even our anonymity doesn’t reveal our true character. We shouldn’t let our work determine our identity because the work of Jesus is the true measure of our value to Him. He thinks we’re all TDF - to die for.

            If we look to ourselves or to others for confidence, we will find many reasons to be insecure and disappointed. But in Christ, we are each created as special beings.

            When we are rooted in Christ, we don’t find our identity in other people’s opinions and we don’t allow mistakes and failures or success and accomplishments to shape our future.

            What God has spoken to us is more important than what people say about us.
